"Catholics must be true to their consciences. But that is not a free-floating guide that we can define ourselves," Santorum wrote in August 2008, when a Catholic bishop had called out Kennedy over abortion. "A Catholic is required to form his conscience in accordance with the church's teachings on faith and reason."
I don't think even Catholics would want this guy in the White House. He's an example of the new retrogressive Catholic beliver who wants us to return to the 13th century. Rather like the Saudi Wahabi.
Even his fellow Catholics must be getting sick of him; who really wants to be preached to both in and out of church?
