Calls for Buchanan’s firing by groups like Color of Change, Credo, and Media Matters had been loud and growing, following years of controversial, offensive and outright bigoted statements made by Buchanan without apology or remorse. Here is a look back at 10 of the most offensive and outrageous statements made by Pat Buchanan:

In 1977, he qualified his labeling of Hitler as racist and anti-semitic by adding that "he was also an individual of great courage, a soldier's soldier in the Great War, a leader steeped in the history of Europe, who possessed oratorical powers that could awe even those who despised him[…]His genius was an intuitive sense of the mushiness, the character flaws, the weakness masquerading as morality that was in the hearts of the statesmen who stood in his path."

With views like this, Buchanan would probably be a nice, cozy fit for FOX News.

A very sick man masquerading as a religious man has for the moment left the scene. Wait! Maybe Rick Santorum is auditioning for his position.

I am sure that the sick minded who enjoyed Beck will enjoy Buchanan on Fox News a soon as they can sign him.

How could he be allowed media access? How can Chris Matthews, the over talker, be allowed to continue? Both Catholics and reputedly pundits.

Should the fear of the Vatican controlling our government not be addressed again? Should women not coalesce to protect their most sacred bodies from a celebate patriarchy? It's no longer time for men to be the only rulers of women. Neither mullahs nor bishops nor Ratzinger.

In the world of "family values" why is celibacy not a "perversion?"

"In the world of "family values" why is celibacy not a "perversion?" "

Because of people like Darell Issa and his GOPTeaBag version of the Inquisition, and the holier than thou Evangelicals who believe that women are of a lower species than men, thus, they are not meant to be treated on the same level as a man. The GOP women are just as guilty, as they are willing to allow themselves to think of themselves as being treated as lesser in human value, subservient and submissive to men, and that this is somehow tied to being more cherish by God. So, a man who beats his wife is supposed be showing that he loves her. When he beats her to death, well....I guess that just means he really really did love her. Right? NOT in my book. NOT in my life ever again.

To me, family values means that a husband loves his wife and treats her with the same dignity, respect and decency that he wants from her. And vise versa. One should not feel dominance or ownership over the other.

Family Values means that they love their children, and show them that love, and jointly parent them. Holding as one to the values and traditions that they hold essential that they want their children to grow up with that will serve them throughout their own lives and be good, productive members of society, and pass them on to their own children.

"Family values" is not something that is meant to be forced on others who do not hold with your own religious, political or traditional ideals of beliefs.

The Cherokee believe that each household has the right to decide how they want to worship the Creator, and to establish their own 'amily values and traditions and no one else has the right to interfere with their right to do that. And, others must respect the differences of others who do not think as they do or hold the same values as they do. As that will affect the Harmony of the Tribe, and Harmony is the heart of living together and surviving together in peace. Those who cause disharmony or threaten the Harmony of the Tribe are banned from the Tribe.

The GOPTeaBags are severely damaging the Harmony and peace of America and its people, and they must be banned from the positions that gives them to power to do that.

As for Chris Matthews, I agree that he over talks his guests a lot, which I think is rather rude, but, that certainly does not put him in the same class as Pat Buchanan. I have never heard Matthews say any of the kinds of terrible things that Buchanan has, or even close. But, the people who agree to go on Matthew's show know full well how he is, and they aren't really put out about it, or they would not keep coming back, as many do. I just wish he would let them talk more than himself at times. But, with some guests, that would be an even more unpleasant.
